May I have a loyalty points card for Physio2Fitness as they are the only Physio’s that I thoroughly recommend having kept me training through my various injuries. Lisa Martin successfully treated me for the aftercare of knee surgery (medial meniscus tear) through acupuncture, friction massage (never forget those!) and physiotherapy exercises. Lisa went above and beyond her call of duty and actively encouraged me to join the Excel boot camps (literally my 6am alarm call) where I improved my confidence in my joints and furthermore started my weight loss regime.

From here Laura Martin took over. Lucky for me Laura Martin is a hand specialist as we discovered my niggling wrist problem was the result of my old broken wrist which never fused and ended in a complete tear of the scaphoid ligament. Not a great prognosiswhen embarking on a 3-month fitness transformation. However Laura never quit on me and actually moulded me a splint be able to lift weights in, attended the consultant appointment with me and adapted all of my training around my wrist and knee to avoid further injuries. Laura also settled my wrist pain back down through ultrasound and strengthening exercises. I have never been made to feel weak or unable to complete my fitness goals on target. To my relief Laura identified the cause of my problems andwe are currently working on a treatment plan concentrating on technique to avoid further strains. Laura Martin is now also my Personal Trainer and incorporates her knowledge as a physiotherapist and her skills as a trainer to provide specialist personal fitness and weight training. I have my own personal fitness goals set and I know I am in safe hands with Physio2Fitness

Lisa carried out intensive physio and rehabilitation on a serious ACL knee injury which saved me from having surgery, through out my therapy Lisa was very supportive and provided excellent assistance.

I returned to full fitness and stronger than ever thanks to Lisa.

After suffering a whiplash injury caused by a traffic accident, I was referred by my insurers to Physio2Fitness.

After 6 sessions with Laura my back and neck felt better than they had done in years. Not only did she remedy the whiplash injury, she also gave me really good advice about how I could prevent ongoing discomfort caused by my work.

Laura was always really friendly and professional, and I will be back to see her at the first sign of discomfort.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa Martin at the start of 2011 when I was looking outside of the NHS for a physiotherapist to help my elderly mother build confidence in order to get back on her feet after a hospital stay.

I found Lisa to be a very professional, kind and caring in nature but importantly she was also able to be firm but nice with my mother. My mother was chair bound on discharge from hospital, having totally lost her confidence to walk. Lisa has got her mobile again with her walking frame and continues to help and improve my mother’s mobility. After returning to my home in the US Lisa maintained communication with me regarding my mothers progress which put my mind at great ease.

I certainly can only say the best regarding Miss Martin and without hesitation would strongly recommend her services.

“Following a calf injury which left me unable to walk without crutches I visited physio2fitness. They swiftly diagnosed what was wrong and explained to me what treatment was required. I noticed a definite improvement in my mobility after every visit. During my recovery they advised that I could still go to the gym and told me which exercises to avoid. They also gave me some stretching exercises to perform at home (or at the gym) to help speed my recovery and also to help prevent further injury in the future. I made a rapid recovery under their care and have virtually no scar tissue due to their expertise. Do not be fooled by their petite size – they are more than capable of giving a very deep tissue massage!

Hi Lisa,
As you know I’ve suffered with severe back pain for 6 years, and until I met you I was sure there wasn’t any cure. When you suggested acupuncture would help control my pain If I am honest I was not keen, with my fear for needles! I am so glad I listened to and took your advice, the results have been truely amazing, I’m completely converted and would gladly recommend acupuncture as an effective remedy to anyone else.

I used physio2Fitness recently when I hurt my back. I found the service very prompt and professional . They were very flexible to accommodate an appointment straight away when I was in pain, and easy to contact out of hours if I was worried about anything. Treatment was always explained to me and time taken to answer my questions. Laura wrote to my GP before I saw him too, giving him a very detailed summary of her assessment to ensure I received the correct medication. I would definitely recommend Physio2Fitness.
